Jacobs survey finds that among this group, traditional in-car AM/FM listening is at its lowest point

With Netflix eliminating some 1,000 jobs and the ability of political action committees to use the "lowest unit rate" when book election-focused ads in question, it's a bumpy time for investors. On Wednesday, one broadcast TV in particular had a tough trading session but ultimately avoided a fresh year-to-date low in the final hour of trading.

She joined Brevard County, Fla.-headquartered USSI Global in 2008 and most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer, earning the role in March 2024. With Ed McGivern now in the CRO role, this company veteran has risen to the post of Chief Operating Officer.

It's an agreement finalized one month ago, and it sees the sale of three TV signals in Ohio to an organization widely known as the home for NPR shows, classical music, and "Folk Alley." Paperwork detailing the merger of Northeastern Educational Television of Ohio with Ideastream has just arrived at the FCC. 

A 3kw Class A FM and its 1kw Class D daytime-only AM sibling serving a small North Carolina city due north of Durham are being transferred to the estate of its now-deceased owner. This puts, for now, the stations in the hands of his widow, Margaret Bradsher.

It is a Class A FM radio station with a broadcast tower in Brilliant, Ala. And, until now, it has been a property owned and operated by Our Town Radio. Soon, that will change, as the company has signed off on an agreement to sell the facility.

A digital Class A television station serving North Carolina's Queen City is being acquired by the licensee associated with the parent of digital multicast network MeTV and the CBS affiliate serving Milwaukee. It sends a message that Bahakel Communications could soon be losing at least one of its "diginets."

On October 1, a New York venue served as a hub of discovery and insight into the future of the sports media business. "In The Arena," co-hosted by "Substack for sports" platform Puck and media-focused Wall Street financial house MoffettNathanson, addressed one key question of particular interest.
