By a mere two votes, the full House of Representatives on Thursday afternoon approved the Rescissions Act of 2025, a move considered a victory for the Trump Administration in its quest to curtail all government funding of public broadcast organizations PBS and NPR.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has approved Rogers Communications' agreement to acquire broadcast media rival Bell Media’s interest in Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, through the NBA TV Canada arm.

In mid-May, Chelan Valley Media Group revealed that it had found a buyer for its radio stations in eastern Washington, with Greg Guy at Tideline Partners serving as the broker. Now, it can be told how much the company is pocketing from the sale of the properties.
