Video technology and monetization platform JWP Connatix (JWPC) has a new CEO, and he will lead the company that just completed a merger combining JW Player with Connatix. He succeeds Dave Otten, JWP Connatix's outgoing CEO.

In 2021, he became GM of WOWT-6, the NBC affiliate serving the Omaha-Council Bluffs market. It was a rise in responsibilities for an individual whose career in broadcasting began at WOW Radio in 1981. Now, he's retiring.

For 35 season, he was an integral part of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs organization, serving as Executive Producer of the Chiefs Radio Network. Described as a pillar of the community by WDAF "FOX 4," he had been battling cancer.  Now, Chiefs Kingdom is mourning the loss of Dan Israel.
