It is an operation that dates to July 1990, when WBGW-FM 101.5 began broadcasting from a remote corner of Gibson County in Southwest Indiana. Today, it has a network of six total FM signals in addition to WBGW, and WBGW-AM, too. Soon, it will be adding three FMs and two FM translators to its stable of non-secular broadcast properties.

In March 2018, owner Donald Pugh Sr. transferred an AM and its FM translator companion to his Eternity Media Group. Now, it seems, the FCC has been waiting an eternity for the station's annual regulatory fees. As such, it has ordered Pugh to pay up or risk losing the Laurel, Miss., stations' licenses.

In September 2024, Great Plains Media agreed to sell an FM licensed to Lawrence, Kansas, to a leading Hispanic market media operation in greater Kansas City. An extension was granted in February 2025. Now, the deal has crumbled, leading the seller to go back to the drawing board on finding a buyer.
